Established by the Sultan of Oman in 1983, Amouage is perhaps the most known of perfume houses in the Middle East. Amouage can be considered the perfume bridge between East and and West. While using traditional oriental ingredients such as oud, incense, rose and spices, the development of the fragrances is taken care of by western master perfumers.

The secret of Amouage is the combination of phenomenal ingredients, fantastic longevity and legendary perfumers such as Alberto Morillas, Guy Robert, Jean-Claude Ellena and Maurice Roucel.

The opulent bottles are divided into women’s and men’s fragrance. The bottles of the women’s scents recall the shape of the Palace Ruwi Mosque in Muskat, Oman; the bottles with the men’s scents have the shape of the Khanjar, the traditional dagger of Oman. A truly luxurious perfume house.
