ALULA

Alula is the latest addition to the Trade Routes, the collection by Penhaligon’s that explores ancient civilizations. With traces of settlements dating back 7,000 years, Alula is an homage to Middle Eastern civilization. The area is known for its striking landscape of rocks and valleys, with a contrast between dry environments and lush, palm-filled oases near the city center. The dry combination of tobacco and incense gets a tingling sensation from pepper, saffron, and turmeric, but ultimately becomes soft and rounded thanks to the fruitiness of plum and creaminess of vanilla.
